Your company or organization can help HistoryLink tell the story of our state through a sponsorship tailored to benefit both parties.
A full sponsorship requires a minimum commitment of $25,000 to support HistoryLink’s mission of pursuing innovative approaches to historical research, education, and publishing. We gladly accept gifts that broadly support this mission and apply the funds directly to adding to the more than 5,500 essays in HistoryLink.org, the free online encyclopedia of Washington state history.
If your company or organization has a substantial history in Washington state, your gift may be applied in part to telling that history on our website. Sponsorship agreements of this type are specifically tailored to your needs, but commonly include an in-depth research chronology that can be valuable for both internal and external purposes, essays for the HistoryLink website, sometimes a slide show for our website that can readily be converted to a PowerPoint for your use, and, occasionally, moveable display panels telling your story.
Regardless of the specific details, all $25,000 sponsors also receive these benefits in recognition of their sponsorship:
- Mention of your company or organization as sponsor on each HistoryLink.org essay produced with your gift, in perpetuity.
- Display of your corporate or organizational logo on the HistoryLink home page and on our Sponsors Page for one year.
- Inclusion of your corporate or organizational logo on school curriculum produced by HistoryLink, on all educational materials published by HistoryLink, and on our website’s Education Page.
- Seating for four guests at our annual HistoryLunch fundraiser, which occurs in September and, in addition to good food, features an entertaining and thought-provoking speech by a noted historian or author.
Other sponsorship opportunities are available beginning at $5,000, and we would be pleased to work with you on a sponsorship plan suited to your interests and funding level.
